We are looking for a great leader to be our Chief Product Officer at Linio Mexico. In this key role, you will partner with the local Senior Leadership team to create and execute the product strategy required to deliver on the ambitious growth plans of Linio Mexico.

As a key member of the executive team, you will own the group product vision and design, develop and launch products that position Linio as the most engaging, entertaining and relevant ecommerce experience globally. Working closely with your peers and teams at all levels in an open management structure, you will represent the voice of the user in the group and forge close links throughout Linio to align expectations for the product with key commercial goals, user data and market opportunities.

You will ensure product features are prioritized and delivered that dramatically increase the momentum established by Linio to date whilst continuing to delight consumers and Seller/Brands engaged on our marketplace platform globally.

You will lead and grow a talented Team of Product, Design, and Engineering professionals, providing them with inspiration, challenging assignments and regular feedback.

Key responsibilities:

•          Own, lead and deliver the overall product vision and roadmap for Linio.

•          Manage, design, build and launch the Linio product portfolio with an emphasis on the refinement of existing products and the launch of new category-defining solutions. 

•          Lead, manage and hire all product and design resources and operate as a key member of the leadership team.

•          Define how the various Linio products enable the achievement of key business goals from a user, revenue and operational perspective.

•          Operate as the voice of the user – consumers and partners – within Linio at all times.

•          Drive product development forward by ensuring clear understanding of all product requirements across all stakeholders.

•          Own in-life product performance and analyze all product data with the product team to understand performance and opportunities in finite detail.

•          Ensure world-class products are delivered that work flawlessly across all channels and foster a sense of achievement with the team.

•          Constantly refine the prioritization, sequencing and delivery of product features to improve the organizational capability for product and design at increasing scale and complexity.

•          Leverage and stipulate the use of data in all product decision making and performance reporting.

•          Explore additional opportunities for product innovation and adjacent market verticals for growth.


Key requirements:

1. Extensive leadership experience in a product function within the context of digital consumer business undergoing exponential growth.

2. Strong academic background with extensive analytical skills balanced with a creative and entrepreneurial streak.

3. Leadership experience of a product team larger than 10 people with a reputation for getting the best from your people.

4. Experience of recruiting highly skilled talent and mentoring teams in product management, design and user experience.

5. Track record of delivering exceptional consumer products for large-scale user audiences with prior world-class experience as a product manager.

6. Broad portfolio of business management, leadership and execution skills and comfortable with operating as an executive team member.

7. Expertise in sequencing and integrating competing or disparate product challenges into a clear value chain.

8. Strong design and user experience skills ideally in a consumer orientated setting.

9. Deep analytical skills with refined abilities in user segmentation and user testing.

10. Relishes autonomy with a remarkable attention to detail and high personal standards with a hunger to win and achieve remarkable results.
